From Family Helper to Professional Organizer
It started during one of the hardest seasons of my family's life. My grandmother was moving to assisted living, and decades of memories needed to be sorted through. What I thought would be a weekend project turned into weeks of discovery—and surprisingly, healing.
I found I had a gift for creating calm from chaos. I could help my grandmother let go of things without losing the memories. I could organize without being ruthless. Word spread through our family, then to friends.
“Can Christine come help?” became the question whenever someone faced an overwhelming space.

Why I do this work
I've seen how clutter isn't just about stuff. It's often about grief, or transition, or simply life happening faster than we can keep up. The garage that became a dumping ground during a stressful year. The closet that still holds clothes from three sizes ago. The craft supplies from a hobby you swore you'd return to.
None of this means you've failed. It means you're human. And sometimes you just need someone to stand beside you, hold up a pair of shoes you haven't worn in five years, and ask the right questions.
That's what I do. No judgment. No shame. Just practical help, one decision at a time.

How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
I know your house feels like an impossible mountain. When you look at the garage, or the spare room, or that closet you haven't opened in months, you feel a weight settle on your chest. Where would you even start?
Here's the secret: You don't need to know where to start. That's my job. You just need to show up for one decision at a time.
Keep or let go? That's it. One item. Then another. Before you know it, you can see the floor. Then the shelves. Then you realize you're smiling.

We work room by room
Instead of trying to tackle your whole house at once (overwhelming!), we focus on one space at a time. This creates visible progress quickly and keeps the process manageable.
We usually start with the room that bothers you most, or the one that will have the biggest impact on your daily life.
Group like with like
Before making any decisions, we gather similar items together. All the books in one place. All the kitchen gadgets together. All the clothes from every closet and drawer.
For example: You might think you have a reasonable number of coffee mugs. But when you see all 47 of them on the counter together, the decision becomes much clearer.
Apply the sticker system
With everything visible, we go through each item together. You make the call, I provide gentle guidance. Every item gets a colored sticker.
Yellow items get special attention
After we've sorted the clear decisions, we come back to the yellows. These are the items where you need a thinking partner—not pressure, just someone to help you talk through why you're holding on and whether it still serves you.
Yellow doesn't mean 'keep forever'—it means 'let's give this the consideration it deserves.'
Create homes for keepers
Everything you're keeping gets an intentional place. We organize in a way that makes sense for YOUR life, not some magazine photo. The system has to work for you to stick.
